Term 2 Reflection
One of my highlights were being in Mrs Stones class because its very fun but i'm not saying that the other teachers aren't. Lock down was weird because we had online learning and even when we came to school we still had online learning. But at least we could still see our friends.

Multiplication Magic 3
Multiplication Magic
We are learning to use place value to solve multiplication problems using whole numbers.
Times Table practice:
15 x 5 = 75
17 x 12 = 204
16 x 16 = 256
9 x 9 = 81
6 x 6 = 36
A factor is: numbers that multiply to make that number. A factor of 12 is 6.
A factor of 24 is 12, 2, 24, 1
A multiple is: times tables
Multiples of 6 are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48
A prime number is: A prime number is a whole number greater than 1. It can only be divided by itself 1
The first 3 prime numbers are: 2, 3, 5
A Triangle number is:
The first 3 triangle numbers are: 1, 3, 6
(Work shop)
18 x 22 = 396
134 x 12 = 1608
135 x 122 = 16470
145 x 124 = 17980
177 x 155 = 27435

Magic time!
12 x 7 = 84
6 x 14 = 84
What do you notice? They had the same answer
18 x 2 = 36
9 x 4 = 36
What do you notice? They had the same answer
If your teacher asks you to solve 22 x 3, how could you change this to a times table you already know?
22 / 2 = 11
3 x 2 = 6
11 x 6 = 66
21 x 6 = 126
7 x 18 = 126
What do you notice? They had the same answer
24 x 9 = 216
8 x 27 = 216
Why has this happened? Because they are both multiples of 3
If your teacher asks you to solve 33 x 3, how could you change this to a times table you already know?
33 / 3 = 11
3 x 3 = 9
9 x 11 = 99

Clothes Shopping
Last Night me and my Mum went shopping at Sylvia Park. We went to Foot Locker and Stirling Sports. First we went to Foot Locker. I had a look around but all of the clothes were too big for me. So we went to Stirling Sports at Stirling Sports they had heaps of clothes that would fit me. So i had a look around and i found some Nike shorts but they couldn't fit me but beside me was a red Nike T-shirt and it caught my attention so i got it after that I went and had a glimpse at the hats. There was just one hat I liked and it was a NY New Era hat it is black and red. I then took the hat and T-shirt to the counter and paid for it. After that we went home and I tried my hat and T-shirt and it fits perfectly.
